Paid Market Surveys- Dispelling Common Myths

There is a ton of information out there about paid market surveys.  Unfortunately, much of the information is wrong.  With all of the conflicting information, it can be difficult sorting fact from fiction.  So, to help you with this, we’re dispelling three of the most common myths about paid market surveys below.

Myth #1- All paid market surveys are scams.

Many people have taken paid market surveys in the past that have been scams, so they assume that all paid surveys are scams.  However, this isn’t true at all.  There are many legitimate companies that will pay you for the time you spend filling out paid market surveys online.  To avoid scams and find the best companies, take time to research the companies before you sign up.  You may even want to read reviews, since this can tell you which companies others found to be the best or which you should stay away from.

Myth #2- You can make thousands of dollars a month with little effort.

There’s no doubt that you can make money taking paid market surveys.  However, you’re definitely not going to become rich.  Most people make several hundred dollars a month completing surveys. While there are a few people that make a couple thousand dollars a month, it requires a lot of time and effort.  So, if you’re only looking for something you can do in your spare time to make enough money for a car payment or extra spending money, then taking paid market surveys is a good choice.

Myth #3- You need experience to take paid market surveys.

Many people try to get you to believe that you actually need experience to take paid market surveys, but this is a lie.  If you can use a computer and answer simple questions, then you can take surveys.  Now, it is true that when you first sign up with a company, you will not get as many surveys as you will once you’ve been with the company for a length of time, but you definitely don’t need any experience to get started.

These are just three of the most common myths about paid market surveys.  As you can see, there is a lot of misinformation floating around that can keep you from signing up to take surveys.  However, paid market surveys are a great way to make extra income each month in your spare time.  You just have to find quality companies.
